September is National Recovery Month

September is #NationalRecoveryMonth, a time to celebrate the courage and strength

of people in recovery, recognize the many different pathways to recovery, and honor

the families, peers, professionals, and community organizations that provide support #EveryStepOfTheWay

Recovery is possible, and no one should have to walk the journey alone. Throughout

New York City's five boroughs, services and supports are available to help individuals and families affected by gambling and substance use. The NYC Regional Addiction Resource Center remains committed to connecting communities with valuable resources, reducing stigma, and sharing messages of hope.

This September, let us celebrate every step forward and continue working together to build support where recovery is encouraged, recognized, and respected. To locate gambling

and substance use resources throughout the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and

Staten Island, please visit the New York City RARC's website at: https://www.rarc-iuany.org
